We've been dog only as of last year due to only having a singular room for cats and diseases spread very easily throughout them. The cat room is now our office and our meet and greet room for adoptions.

Please contact the Animal Control Officer at (405) 762-0156 or dispatch and they'll get in contact with him as soon as possible. 

If you've lost a dog, please contact us so we can see if they've been brought to the shelter and we can help reunite them with their family! 

We are currently not accepting surrenders. We try to help as many animals as possible, but we have limited space and resources. We can only accept dogs and unfortunately, we have little space and many dogs. 

You can donate online through our website or drop off supplies in person. You can view our wishlist on this site to see what we're in need of most!

To adopt a dog from Holdenville Animal Shelter, you must fill out an application online and if you are approved, you can go to the shelter to meet with a shelter worker and your furry friend! There is an adoption fee of $25 that you will have to pay at City Hall and bring us the receipt unless we are having free adoptions.

We are always in need of foster homes for  our dogs! If you are interested in fostering, please fill out a foster application on our website or in person at the shelter. We provide all necessary supplies and medical care for the dog!
